Ohm’s Law (Power) Calculator

Enter any two values (V, I, R, or P). This tool uses the current field and the previous field as the source pair, then live-calculates the other two — with Auto engineering units, an AC Power Factor helper, and a shareable URL.

Enter any two values to solve the other two. Units are respected, and you’ll see engineering notation under each field.
What’s happening? Ohm’s Law relates voltage, current, and resistance: V = I·R. Power is derived from those values: P = V·I. This tool also uses P = V²/R and P = I²·R depending on which two values you provide.
AC Power (RMS + Power Factor)
Optional helper for real-world AC loads. Uses P = Vrms · Irms · PF. Also shows VA and var.

Engineering notation (quick explainer)
Values step in 10³: m (10⁻³), µ (10⁻⁶), k (10³), M (10⁶).
Example: 0.002 A → 2 mA, and 1200 Ω → 1.2 kΩ.
